Tips For Micing Hair Chests

This question comes from Nathan Romer Audio = "Any advice for dealing with hairy chests and bad material? wool, silk, etc..."

Many focus on the lavalier its self but with that usually being in a mount of some kind it's generally the cable that can become and issue and pick up on the clothes rubbing with the chest hair over it.

One idea is getting a chest strap for your lav like the URSA Chest strap. Conveniently I have a hairy chest and so got to try it out and it really helped with the cable issue.
